In order to minimize the environmental impact and noise pollution of our work, we use battery-operated chainsaws and tools as well as hand tools.
Electric equipment can be a more sustainable choice than its conventional gasoline-powered counterpart. Not only do battery operated tools result in fewer greenhouse gas emissions, but they are also much quieter while in operation.
It's healthier for all of us ,not to breathe in exhaust from combustion engines.
We are also building systems for solar charging of our tools.
When trees need to be removed, ideally we like to leave their biomass on your property. Trees and plants are transmuting solar energy into stable carbon while also providing components for building healthy soils The natural and circular process of decomposition returns nutrients to your soil.
There are creative ways to utilize the dead trees on your property for new wildlife or insect habitat not to mention the cultivation of beneficial fungi, bacteria.
Humans expend an incredible amount of energy moving biomass from one location to another. We are interested in finding new ways and reconnecting with old ways of keeping biomass in our local ecosystem and minimizing waste.
In addition, we are currently looking into more sustainable transportation options. Environmental integrity is a key part of who we are, and we want this to be reflected in all that we do, from our direct work with trees to the way we get to and from your home.
