He/Him/His

Based in Niwot, CO, founder Josh Morin created We Love Trees with a unique vision of  the relationship between people and trees. Josh is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist and brings this expertise to his environmentally grounded approach to tree care.  Josh has over 20 years of professional experience working with trees in various parts of the country. He obtained a B.S. in Forestry from Virginia Tech and served 2 years as a Peace Corps Volunteer  in Nepal before working as an arborist. Currently Josh serves on the Tree Care Industry Association Board of Directors and Chairs the Colorado Tree Care Sector Partnership. Both of these organizations are working to improve how we care for and work with trees.

Andrew was raised within view of the Rocky Mountains, his upbringing was steeped in respect for natural beauty.  He is an ISA certified arborist.  Seeking to incorporate his ecological appreciation into a career, he obtained a degree in Biology from Colorado State University. His education continued to grow at the Denver Botanic Gardens where he sought to harmonize the urban landscape of the city with the natural splendors of his youth. Since trees were his primary interest, their care and maintenance became his top priority. A small sidestep in career paths landed him in the field of arboriculture, where he continues to develop a passion for trees and their impact on local ecosystems. Andrew is  honored to be working with We Love Trees in the pursuit of creating and preserving our urban forests.

David was raised in the Wisconsin woods. His father imparted to David his own love of trees, and introduced him to concepts in tree identification, planting, pruning, and woodlot management from an early age. David started working in the tree care industry in San Francisco in the early 90's and was mentored locally by renowned arborist Fred Berkelhammer. David has been an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist since 2003, and opened Arbor Vital Tree Care in 2004. In October of 2023, David merged his company with We Love Trees, where he still continues to sell tree work and be of service to the community.. 

She/Her/Hers

Monika is an artist with an endless interest in sustainability and natural beauty.  A transplant from the Northeast, she is constantly enthralled by the magic of the Rocky Mountains. She graduated with her bachelor's degree in graphic design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 2017.  As a multi-faceted creative, Monika has enjoyed being a nanny, starting her own freelance graphic design business, as well as aiding Josh in building his business.  She is passionate about bettering the world through artistic vision and creating a thriving relationship with local community. When not being creative, Monika enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, live music, and traveling.

Anna's journey began in Ibagué, a small town nestled between the Andes mountains in Colombia. At the age of six, her path led her to Florida, where she embraced a new language and culture. This multicultural background has given her a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and experiences, and ultimately shaped her decision to become a sociologist. As an empath, she strives for understanding and helping people wherever she is. Anna is a proud chihuahua mom with an immense love for traveling, concerts, raves, and culinary experiences. At We Love Trees, she channels her passion into service, whether coordinating appointments, managing communications, or assisting the team.

Ricamae is an Administrative Assistant from the province of Isabela, Philippines. She leverages her background in education to bring a unique blend of organization and creativity to her role at We Love Trees. With a keen eye for detail, she ensures every proposal is crafted with precision and clarity, and every project she manages meets the highest standards of quality. 

Outside of work, she loves exploring the outdoors through river and beach hopping, which brings out her adventurous side. When at home, she enjoys singing and cooking—creative outlets that fuel her imagination and precision. Her passion for her work shines through in everything she does, ensuring she consistently contributes positively to her team.

Hailing from the vibrant town of Boulder, Colorado, Ben brings a unique blend of experiences to our team. Armed with a bachelor's degree from Naropa University, he honed his skills as a former combat medic in the esteemed 82nd Airborne. Beyond his military service, Ben deepened his connection to the earth with a permaculture design certificate, embodying a commitment to sustainable living.

Fueling his pursuits is a lifelong passion for nature, organic food, and healthy living. Ben seamlessly intertwines his diverse background with a love for yoga, creating a holistic approach that mirrors our values and strengthens our team.

Growing up in Fort Collins Colorado, Cam has always been connected with nature and loved spending time outside, an affliction he brought with him to college in North Carolina where he

earned his Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology from Lees-McRae College. While in college he adopted his specific love for trees, especially Spruce trees. Cam has developed his arboriculture skills removing tamarisk near Grand Junction, Colorado and also operating a chainsaw in wildland fire operations for two years. He looks forward to learning more about aboriculture and continuing to push himself and hone his skills. 

As an outdoor aficionado, Cam enjoys hiking, off-road driving, and exploring the mountains with his two dogs. This has led him to want to make a significant positive impact on the nature around him while respecting nature for all it has to offer.

Blaze was born and raised in beautiful Longmont, Colorado, within arms reach of the mountains. Raised to love the outdoors with family camping trips and frequent hiking. He spent his childhood playing outdoors and climbing trees long before he knew that he could make a career out of it. After graduating from high school he found his love for rock climbing and can often be found in climbing gyms around the state or outdoors whenever the Colorado weather allows. His experience with rope climbing, both indoors and outdoors, gave him the basics needed to begin his adventure into arborism. Blaze especially enjoys fine pruning, working with and maintaining chainsaws, and climbing trees. Armed with his willingness to learn and adoration for nature, Blaze wants to get as much experience as he can to continue working with trees for the foreseeable future.

Jorge was born in Aija, a small province in the Cordillera Negra in the Peruvian Andes. He grew up in Peru surrounded by mountains, where nature and history come together harmoniously. There he learned respect and love for nature from his ancestors. He enjoys outdoor activities such as running, climbing and meditation. He is passionate about teaching climbing. He taught children to climb in Peru and the United States. He believes that climbing helps us overcome and improve self-confidence.

Jorge is also a professional chef, spending much of his time working in restaurants and being part of many gastronomic projects. Jorge also dedicated part of his life to the field of tourism in Peru where he shared part of his culture, his customs, respect for life, nature and animals with others. Jorge loves the process of learning and spiritual improvement and believes that every day is an opportunity to serve others. He believes that working with trees is very satisfying. He considers trees to be an excellent filter of pollutants and beneficial to the world and its inhabitants. Therefore, making it important to care for and protect them.
